Description

Working Pixel is a small independent game studio comprised of Kiel McDonald and Luke Bechthold. Embracing the freedoms of indie development, Working Pixel aims to strive for creative new gaming experiences.

History

Early history

The first product shipped by Working Pixel was an alphabet learning game for iPad, Animal Kingdom ABC's. While reaching a global audience, Animal Kingdom ABC's was not a financial success. The team was not discouraged by the poor earnings of Animal Kingdom ABC's and persevered on to more projects since its release.

Agito

Shortly after finishing work on all the versions on Animal Kingdom ABC's, Working Pixel began work on a small internal month long challenge. The game that surfaced after a month was Agito. Unlike previous projects Agito had some success and made a small return. At this point the earnings level of the company was not high enough to sustain full time internal development. After Agito's sale slowed Working Pixel began a contract work cycle.

Recent

It was slow production on internal projects with the contract work load, but Working Pixel secured enough capital to once again begin full time self production, beginning in 2013. Working Pixel is currently working on a new project soon to be revealed.
